Terms of Use

1. Licence and Apple terms

Tea Master is licensed, not sold. Unless a different licence is presented through the App Store, your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”). These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA or applicable law, the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law control to the extent of the conflict.

2. Hot-water and brewing safety

Tea preparation involves hot water, hot tea, kettles, and brewing vessels that can cause burns or other injuries. Use appropriate care, keep hot items on stable surfaces, and follow all safety instructions supplied by the manufacturer of your kettle and brewing equipment.

You are responsible for deciding whether a suggested temperature, duration, or brewing method is appropriate for your tea, equipment, environment, and personal circumstances. Children and anyone who requires assistance when handling hot liquids should be supervised by a responsible adult.

3. General brewing guidance

Tea Master provides general timing, temperature, volume, and preparation guidance. Recommendations and adaptive adjustments are informational starting points and are not professional, medical, food-safety, or equipment-safety advice. The App does not control, inspect, or monitor your kettle, water, ingredients, or brewing equipment.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Tea Master may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime in-app purchase through Apple’s App Store. Prices, billing periods, introductory offers, renewal terms, cancellation, refunds, and payment processing are handled under the terms displayed by Apple at purchase. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through your Apple Account settings. Eligible purchases can be restored from within the App.

5. Your data and acceptable use

You are responsible for the tea information and photographs you add to the App and for ensuring that you have the right to use them. You may not use Tea Master unlawfully, attempt to interfere with the App or Apple services, or infringe another person’s rights.

6. Availability and changes

The App and its features are provided subject to platform availability, device compatibility, and Apple services. Polaris Labs may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for security, reliability, legal, or operational reasons.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tea Master is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Polaris Labs does not warrant that brewing recommendations will suit every tea, preference, appliance, or circumstance, or that the App will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

Tea preparation involves risks that exist independently of the App. You remain responsible for exercising appropriate care when handling hot water, hot tea, kettles, ingredients, and brewing equipment.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Polaris Labs is not liable for personal injury, burns, property damage, loss, or other harm arising from or related to the handling of hot water, hot tea, kettles, or brewing equipment, or from reliance on general brewing guidance provided by the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits any warranty, liability, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited. The limitations in the Apple Standard EULA also apply.

9. Changes to these Terms

Polaris Labs may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or business practices. Revised Terms will be published at this location with an updated effective date. Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided.
